Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron and Joey King sat down with Extra’s Teri Seymour to talk about their new romantic comedy, “A Family Affair.”
In the film, King plays a mother (Kidman) who becomes embroiled in a torrid, passionate love affair with her movie star boss, played by Efron.
This isn’t the first time Nicole and Zac have played lovers! Terry asked if filming the 2012 movie The Paperboy helped them prepare for “The Family Affair.”
Nicole responded, “Yes, it was a relaxed arrangement and we could discuss it together.”
Zac added: “She called me and was like, ‘Do you want to do this? Because if you do it, I’ll do it.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I’d love to do it.'”

Joey called Nicole and Zac “the cutest kids,” and Efron added, “I knew at that point Joey was going to be in it,” adding that the two complimented each other.
King joked, “You guys! Stop it. You guys are making me so selfish.”
Terry complimented how funny Joey is in the film, with Nicole agreeing, “Very funny,” before adding, “I’m your straight woman.”
Joey insisted, “No, Nicole, you’re really funny, stop! You’re really funny.”

Nicole also confirmed that she’s working on a sequel to Practical Magic with Sandra Bullock.
Kidman smiled and said, “Sandy and I, yeah. The Owens sisters are back.”
She explained, “We’d been considering it for a while and we wanted it to be a good storyline, and I love Sandy, so the idea of working with her again…we both said, ‘Oh, we’re still here, we’re still working, we’re still very passionate about life,’ and so to bring that into what we’re doing now is just so much fun.”
“A Family Affair” will be available on Netflix on June 28th.
