Multiple people were shot during a video shoot for rapper French Montana outside a restaurant in Miami Gardens on Thursday night, police said.
Miami Gardens Police confirmed that Detective Diana Grug answered ShotSpotter’s call just before 8 p.m. at Licking Miami Gardens on NW 27th Street.
Police say the altercation began elsewhere and ended at the restaurant where the shooting took place.
Several victims were injured, their condition unknown. Police have not confirmed the number of casualties.
Rapper Ced Mogul told NBC 6 he was filming a video behind a nearby KFC where someone was robbed. Filming then moved to The Licking, where nine people were shot, including rapper Rob 49, Mogul said. Police have not confirmed this information.
No arrests have been made.
