The important detail about these two seasons is that they are all guaranteed. Antoine Winfield Jr. will receive $19.5 million in 2026 and $19.6 million in 2027, the final year of his contract.

Bucks hit cap with signing Antwon Winfield Jr.
Tampa Bay’s front office has done a great job of getting star players the money they deserve while also making sure their salary cap doesn’t take too much of a hit.
There are several ways to do this, such as signing bonuses and void years to get the most value out of each player while reducing the amount they end up reaching the cap.
The Bucks did this again with Antwon Winfield Jr.’s new contract. The Pewter Report reported that his cap hit next season will be $7.3 million, saving him an additional $10 million. This gives the Bucks the financial flexibility to sign rookies in the remaining draft class and leave money to sign other free agents throughout the season if needed.
