Mauro Chalet, 34, a professional mixed martial artist from the city of Porto Alegre, has reportedly died in a clash with police officials. A combatant, a female acquaintance and a police officer were all shot dead in the ensuing chaos, but Shohret was reportedly the only one killed.
According to an article on local news site Radio Guaiba, the altercation with the police began in a pub and escalated from there.
