Miss Universe Ukraine Viktoria Apanasenko has been lauded for showing off the costume she will wear at the 71st Annual Miss Universe Pageant. The costume, called “Warrior of Light”, was designed by Lesia Patoka and her label Nagolovy. People around the world admire the symbolism of Apanasenko’s ensemble. It has a multi-layered motif with ornate oversized blue and yellow wings.Ms. Apanasenko also wears body armor and holds a sword to complete her costume.The pageant will be held on her January 14 It will be held in New Orleans today.
In a post on Instagram, Ukraine wrote: “The ‘Warrior of Light’ costume symbolizes our nation’s fight against darkness. Like Archangel Michael defending Ukraine with his sword, it is our will protect you,” he said.
A photo of the costume was shared a week ago and has been liked by over 11,000 users since then.
“Victoria holds a weapon in her hands and her body is covered in armor while she shines a light through the darkness that has come to a peaceful land with the invaders,” the post continued.
The costume was designed in Ukraine over four months “under extreme conditions, siren sounds, no electricity, and candlelight,” the post added.
Users were overwhelmed by the selection of pageant costumes.

On Twitter, one user called it “bad.” “Miss Ukraine’s outfit for Miss Universe is called Warrior of Light. I can’t tell you how awful this is,” tweeted a user who goes by the handle @CaptainKaycee.
Apanasenko also explained the costume in an Instagram post.The iconic wings burn in battle, surrounded by armor of blue and gold in the colors of the Ukrainian flag, adorned with various mirror ornaments, and the definitive Opened for battle.
