However, locals and tourists were quick to comment on the woman’s post, warning that Kawaguchi wasn’t as perfect as it looks in the photos.

A tropical oasis less than two hours’ drive from Sydney, loved for its peace and tranquility
‘Nice long river, great place to spend a day on the water or go fishing. Mountains of places to pull up for a picnic. It’s a very peaceful area that we come back to all year round,” wrote one man.
“It’s a great place to go for water sports, or you have a great view during your walk or exercise. The walk to the river is fun. It’s a clean and safe area,” said the woman.
“Our favorite place, so beautiful,” wrote another.
Water sports fans will rave about kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and fishing destinations.
However, not everyone agrees that the river resembles the Whitsundays, and some locals warn adventurers not to visit it on holidays.
However, some people believe the warnings are from locals who do not want the destination to become a tourist destination.
“The locals don’t want you to come here and just say,” one woman said.
“Don’t tell everyone,” wrote another local.
“I’ve been to nice places like this in South Sydney, but I don’t want them to be as crowded as in Sydney, so most of the places are quiet,” the man commented.
