Meghan Markle is ringing in the new year on Instagram!
The Duchess of Sussex returned to the stage with a video of herself running barefoot on the beach, wearing a white shirt and trousers, and writing “2025” in the sand.
This video was posted under the handle @meghan, which is not a verified account.
According to People magazine, the video was shot by Prince Harry on a beach near Montecito, California.
Markle also posted a profile photo of herself smiling.
Meghan closed her personal and professional Instagram accounts in 2017 while dating Prince Harry.
For a while, they shared the @KensingtonRoyal account with Prince William and Duchess Kate, but that didn’t last long. Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan launched @SussexRoyal in 2019, but stopped updating the account when they stepped down as senior royals in 2020.
In 2022, Markle told The Cut that she is considering returning to Instagram, but isn’t sure.
