Bachelor Nation is buzzing about the possibility of “Golden Bachelorette” star Mark Anderson becoming the next Golden Bachelor.
“Extra” spoke with Mark about it during the taping of “Men Tell All,” and Mark said, “I can’t imagine saying no.”
He continued: “It’s definitely something I’ve thought about and will continue to think about. I hope that when the time comes, it will be an easy decision.”
Mark added: “I have to talk to my kids again and I have to talk to the rest of my family about this. This journey has been amazing for me.”
Mark could ask his future son-in-law, Joey Graziadei, who is engaged to his daughter Kelsey Anderson on “The Bachelor,” for advice.
He said, “I’m pretty close to Joey, so I was able to talk to him about his journey so far.”
Graziadei recently voiced his support for Mark to be the next Golden Bachelor, and even said that Kelsey was supportive.
Mark commented: It’s a blessing. ”
“It took some of the load off,” Mark said. “The hardest question I ever asked in my life was to ask my kids before I went on the show if they would be okay with me dating again, so it’s great to have their support already.”
As everyone but Mark tries to steal Joan Vassos’ heart, he reflects on what went wrong.
He admitted, “I know I wasn’t ready for time management. It’s like time accelerates and you only have so much time together, so you can’t make the most of it.” I don’t think I did…It’s important to make the most of that time. I just didn’t do it.”
He reflected on the bonds he formed with the men during his season of “The Golden Bachelorette” and how it helped him on his own journey.
Mark said: “From the first night we walked through the limousine door, it was just a welcoming environment and everyone was so happy to share with each other that we ended up having a pretty deep relationship. We spent a lot of time talking about what really mattered, how they got through their grief, how they got through their divorce, how they coped, etc. Listening to other people talk about it. It helps.”
As for who Mark thinks Joan should end up with, he replied, “Whoever she chooses.”
He added: “I think Joan knows what’s right for Joan and when she chooses, she chooses the right person. She started out in a house full of great men, but she’s narrowed it down. “She did a great job navigating this situation,” he added. So I think what she chose suits her. ”
“The Golden Bachelorette” airs Wednesdays on ABC.
