Mandy Moore and her family found safe haven with Hilary Duff after losing their home in the Los Angeles fires.
Sadly, Mandy, her husband Taylor Goldsmith, and their three children Gus, 3, Ozzie, 2, and Louise, 3 months, were forced to evacuate their Altadena home after the Eaton fire, as it became uninhabitable.
Goldsmith’s younger brother Griffin and his family were also left homeless, as were Taylor and Griffin’s parents.
What Griffin took Instagram Thank you to Hilary and her husband, Matthew Koma, who have set up a GoFundMe for him and his wife and have embraced Mandy and Taylor’s family.
The musician wrote: “Words cannot express how much we feel right now. We have lost everything. 8 years of memories we made in our home. 20 years of gear. My wife. @nyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I was putting the finishing touches on the nursery for my baby boy, who was due to be born in a few weeks. ”
He later added: But just as overwhelming is the amount of love and generosity we are receiving. our dear friends @Matthew Koma and @hilaryduff We thought it would be wise to set up a gofundme to help us with everything going forward. Needless to say, they are currently living in my brother’s family. From the moment this started, they took care of my entire family. I can’t thank them enough. This is the kindest thing a human being can do for another. They are the most beautiful, selfless people we have ever known. ”
on the other hand, gofundme has raised more than $200,000 so far, but it’s led to some hating Mandy and questioning why she isn’t helping her family.
Moore fired back on Instagram, but later deleted the post.
