It’s been days since “When Calls the Heart” actress Mamie Lovelock was put on life support, but there’s hope!
Lovelock’s family shared updates on her health on her GoFundMe page.
They are I have written“Mommy has had major surgery and the doctors [say] She is doing well. We couldn’t be happier and thank you all for your support.”
Earlier this week, Mamie’s family said the 19-year-old had been taken to hospital in Winnipeg, Canada, after a “medical emergency,” and that her mother “arrived in time and was able to save her life.”
Laverock has since been transferred to a hospital in Vancouver, Canada, where she is expected to remain “for over a month.” Details of her recovery are “unknown,” but the GoFundMe statement says “she is alive and showing signs of recovery.”
But then things went from bad to worse.
Her parents, Nicole and Rob, said Mamie was “taken from a high-security room at the hospital and walked onto a balcony walkway where she fell five stories.”
“She suffered life-threatening injuries, has undergone multiple major surgeries and is currently on life support,” they said. “We are all devastated and shocked at this extremely difficult time.”
