Luke Bryan looked fit for the 58th Annual CMA Awards!
Alecia Davis of “Extra” spoke with Brian, who co-hosts the show with Laney Wilson and Peyton Manning.
Along with preparing for the star-studded show, Brian is also filming American Idol with new judge Carrie Underwood.
He said: Carrie and I have always been in the business together, but we never spent a lot of time together, so we sat behind the desk and talked about how she broke away from being an “American Idol” winner and all that. I was able to see them actually learning. And like being a superstar and being a table judge…she’s doing a good job. ”
Brian said jokingly. I don’t want to affect her in any way. ”
Regarding co-hosting the CMA, Luke is not nervous, saying, “It took me 100 years, so I’m not nervous anymore.”
“It was a fun night,” Brian said, adding, “I still wake up and think, ‘I can’t believe I’m co-hosting the CMA Awards.'”
Luke praised co-host Rainey, calling her “the biggest star in the world.”
He continued, “She’s such a star and she acts like a big superstar back in the day. It’s always nice to get to spend a little more time with people you don’t normally meet…We’re both busy, but with her… It’s great to hang out and break up.”
Speaking about what we can expect from the show, Luke teased: It’s like the year of Jelly Roll and Post Malone. ”
