Netflix’s behemoth “Love is Blind” broke into uncharted territory with the release of its “Habibi” edition earlier this month. And the huge response from viewers is proof that the dating reality series is doing very well in the Middle East. Celebrity couple Elham Ali and Khaled Saqer hosted the debut episode of a social experiment in which Arab singles connect, commit to marriage, but are invisible.
Many suitors were introduced, but only three couples made it down the wedding aisle, and only one of them ended up getting married. But that wasn’t the end for the other two couples. They decided to take their relationship beyond a social experiment, which left a big question mark on their current relationship status.
Now that there’s been some ups and downs in the wedding and dating realm for the participants, Netflix has finally released the reunion episode to see which couples are still together.
Mohammad and Safa: a happy married life
Safa, a finance manager, fell in love with Mohammed, a marketing and brand manager, during the pod. Despite a few hiccups here and there, their journey was one of the smoothest on the show. Safa and Mohammad’s families met officially to give their blessings, followed by a fairytale wedding ceremony in which they both said “I do” and began a happy married life.
Now, a year later, the couple has finally confirmed that they are together and are enjoying a happy married life. Mohammad explained that his love for Safa continues to grow day by day and the happy wife appreciates her husband’s mature attitude. They are planning to expand their family and have already decided that they want two children. Well, congratulations to the couple!
Dounia and Chafik: engaged and soon to be married

The youngest couple on Love Is Blind Habibi has had its share of ups and downs. They got into many arguments over disagreements, including a particular jealousy conflict and a dispute over Chafik’s bachelor life. Although they never legally married, they decided to continue dating outside of the show, and it has been confirmed that they are still engaged and plan to get married, possibly by next year. I want to take wedding photos soon!
Asma and Hatab: Separated

Asma, who wanted her groom to be athletic, was surprised by Katab’s overweight physique and decided to stop the experiment after meeting face to face. However, they came back to give their relationship another chance. However, a big problem arose when Asma’s family was reluctant to give blessings to them. They didn’t even show up on their wedding day.
Although Asma refused to marry Hatab, they decided to continue dating outside of the show, and it has now been confirmed that they broke up after about two months of dating. A major problem between the couple was their professional life. Katab’s career as a DJ and architect has forced her to work around the clock, and her male suitor admits that he can’t pay much attention to his partner, leading to frustration between the two. did. However, the couple ended their relationship on good terms and confirmed that they are friends with each other.
In addition, Nour and Mido, Karma and Ammar, and Simo and Hajar also managed to break out of the pod, but unfortunately, they all disbanded before their wedding day and dropped out of the experiment.
“Love Is Blind, Habibi” is available to stream on Netflix.
