A gas leak occurred Friday night at the Longhorn Steakhouse on Rolling Hills Circle in Easley, the fire department said.
Officials said the gas leak was traced to the HVAC unit.
The building was evacuated and several people were checked out on site by the Pickens County EMS, but no one was taken to hospital.
Fire officials said the steakhouse will remain closed until repairs are completed.
