Local Logic, a provider of community and market insight marketing solutions, will partner with Lundy, an AI voice search option for the visually impaired, the company announced in a June 12 press release obtained by Inman.
This partnership makes great sense for both organizations, especially Lundy – it empowers Lundy users to make more unassisted home search decisions, provides a more comprehensive integration of user preferences with each property detail request, and provides Local Logic with a strong business case study for the depth of its resources.
Lundy CEO Justin Lundy said the localized data provided by Local Logic will immediately lead to improvements in the overall solution.
“By enabling access to rich location information via voice, we are setting a new standard for convenience and information access in the real estate market,” said Lundy.
Lundy’s voice search, Finding Homes, was inspired by the need for blind homebuyers to navigate as much of the buying process as possible on their own. This process has traditionally been dominated by rich visual marketing media and image-based consumer tools, such as floor plans and 3D tours. But the advent of computer vision, the AI that transforms still images into text descriptions and part of LundyAI Core, brings extraordinary benefits to voice platforms like Amazon’s Alexa, the primary vehicle for Lundy’s service.
For example, Local Logic’s suite of tools goes beyond simply finding the nearest Starbucks: A host of branded packages allow users to dig into nuanced market data, socio-economic trends, retail growth or decline, school data, traffic volumes, and all the geographic and lifestyle data needed to choose one home over another.Other recent partnerships include MLS software company VestaPlus, Radian subsidiary Homegenius, and CRMLS.
In March, Local Logic launched a set of APIs (application programming interfaces) and SDKs (software development kits) under the name NeighborhoodWrap. These tools allow marketers to enrich their omnichannel marketing campaigns with tightly integrated local insights, the company’s main value proposition.
“Our partnership with Randi is a powerful example of how cutting-edge technology combined with deep data analytics can improve the real estate search process,” Vincent Charles Hodder, co-founder and CEO of Local Logic, said in a statement. “Providing comprehensive location information through Randi’s platform gives consumers and agents the tools they need to make more informed decisions and marks a major step forward in the evolution of the real estate search experience.”
The partnership reinforces the claim that more real estate software providers are prioritizing customer experience.
Agents will certainly benefit from promoting Lundy and partnering with Local Logic’s marketing products, but ultimately, they will provide buyers and sellers with a valuable decision-making tool.Lundy’s solution has benefits beyond helping the visually impaired, but its impetus is firmly rooted in the need to solve problems that aren’t being solved in the traditional homebuying process.
