Classes have resumed for the new season at Abbott Elementary School.
‘Extra’s’ Melvin Robert sat down with Lisa Ann Walter, who steals the scene as Melissa Schemmenti.
Lisa Ann talked about the secret to the show’s success: “The writers learn what we’re doing, and then the viewers are at home, too. We’re family to them, so they come in to see, ‘Is this relationship going to work?'” ? Are Janine and Gregory going to work?”
When asked if Janine and Gregory’s relationship is going well, she modestly replies, “I don’t know.”
After three seasons, fans were dying to know if their relationship would flourish or fizzle out.
When asked about what kind of student she was growing up, Lisa Ann replied: I got into trouble trying to make people laugh. I was the class clown. ”
Lisa Ann believes her “Abbott Elementary” character would have appreciated her “intelligent and innocent” nature.
“Abbott Elementary” Season 4 premieres tonight on ABC.
