Nicole Scherzinger paid tribute to Liam Payne with a heartfelt post on Instagram.
Payne, 31, died after falling from the balcony of a hotel in Argentina on October 16th.
Nicole and Liam have a long history. She formed Payne’s boy band One Direction on The X Factor in 2010 with Simon Cowell. They had also just finished filming the Netflix reality show Building the Band with AJ McLean and Kelly Rowland two months before Liam’s death.
Mr. Scherzinger shared a letter addressed to Mr. Payne. Instagramalong with a selfie with Kelly.
She wrote: “Dear Liam, I will forever cherish the time we shared together, from the birth of One Direction 15 years ago to just a few weeks ago. I have had the pleasure of working with you recently. I was very happy. We shared the same love and passion for music and I will forever remember the meaningful and fun conversations we had.”
Nicole said: “It has been so hard to accept that you are no longer here, but I am grateful to have known your kind heart, kind soul, and personality. You have brought so much joy, light and laughter into my life. I will say “I missed you” my friend and will hold you in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. 🙏🏽♥️”
She also spoke about Liam on “Good Morning America.” I’m saying“Liam and I were very close, especially because we recently did a show together on Netflix called ‘Building the Band.'” So, yeah, my heart hurts for Liam and I’m so grateful for him. My heart breaks for his family, his loved ones, and his friends. ”

Scherzinger continued, “Liam always led with his heart and kindness, and I truly hope he will be remembered that way.”
Additionally, as reported by People magazine, Andrew Lloyd Webber said: signboard Nicole said they were texting Payne the day he died.
