Letter to the Editor: Albert Lee Civic Music Provides Entertainment for the Family

Dear Editor,
We are starting to prepare for next year. Schools and teachers are planning for a great fall, sports schedules are in place, and families are looking forward to the new school year.
When “busy” continues, it is easy to forget to do something together as a family. Albert Lee Civic Music concerts are family friendly! And—what a great deal! Family season his tickets for the upcoming 2023-2024 season are only $105.
Performances range from folk to jazz to classical, with a variety of instruments including guitar, saxophone, piano, violin, trumpet and vocals.
The concert series kicks off in the fall with the Folk Legacy Trio (October 2nd) and pianist Charlie Albright (November 12th). On February 9th, Yu and I will enjoy the sounds of the guitar and violin duo, followed by the saxophonist Cinta Quartet on March 5th. Blasfire, featuring world-famous trumpeter Jens Lindemann, will conclude its season in May. 21. All concerts will be held in the auditorium of Albert Lee High School.
Season tickets are available online at www.albertleacivicmusic.com and at the following locations: Arcadian Bank (Albert Lea and Freeborn), Hy-Vee (Albert Lea), Albert Lea Convention and Visitors Bureau, Alden City Office, and The at Coffee House Maine (Austin).
Season ticket prices are $50 (adults), $15 (students), and $105 (families). Albert Lee Civic Music’s season ticket also entitles you to attend one of his three concert series for the Clear Lake Area Concert Association.
Albert Lee Civic Music will also be sponsoring a Los Leberdes performance at Fountain Lake Gazebo in Albert Lea on Thursday, August 17th at 5:30pm.
