At Money in the Bank last Saturday, Drew McIntyre made a shocking return to WWE after being out of the ring for several months.
There have been rumors in recent weeks that the Scottish player is unhappy with the company as he enters the final year of his contract.
Despite his return, McIntyre does not appear to have signed a new contract. Therefore, a recent report wrestling observer radio WWE said it may extend his contract with WrestleMania (40).
At Money in the Bank, Austrian Drew defended the belt against Matt Riddle before facing reigning Intercontinental Champion Gunther.
Triple H comments on Drew McIntyre’s return
Considering the various reports that the former WWE Champion is not happy with the ongoing contract negotiations, it seems that Drew and the company are on good terms.

“If Drew[McIntyre]had a problem, that’s news to me. He was just out with an injury and was just trying to get some symptoms under control. While he was out, other stuff. “There was something we wanted to fix and we did it and came here.” I’m excited to be here and I hope he stays here for the rest of his career, and that’s how I feel,” Triple said. Drew’s last match before leaving came at WrestleMania 39 last April, when he faced Gunther and Sheamus in a highly entertaining triple match for the Intercontinental title.
