Lamb Weston Co. of Eagle, Idaho, has released Mini Waffle Hash Browns, billed as “a mini mashup of great proportions.” Officials say product developers have created a “waffle-like hash brown” that can be eaten all day long, not just as an on-the-go snack.

Lamb Weston said nearly 40 percent of all hash brown orders are placed by consumers 55 and older. * Meanwhile, its mini-waffle shape appeals to younger guests. **
For example, a breakfast prototype might include “sunrise sliders,” mini towers (alternating hash brown sausages), or a “loaded” version of fried eggs. Other applications may have “nacho’d” or loaded carnitas versions. Last but not least, this product is simply served as a snack with queso dip.
Mini waffle hash browns are fully cooked and shipped frozen. Unopened product can be refrigerated for up to 48 hours (below 40F). Can be cooked in a quick cook, convection or conventional oven for easy preparation.
