Keller Williams has hired four new executives to bolster its commercial, coaching and philanthropy divisions, according to an announcement Monday: Cynthia Lee and Alicia Shepherd will become the new president and vice president of KW Commercial, while Cody Gibson and Rachel Elder will become vice presidents of KW MAPS Coaching and KW Cares, respectively.
“We are pleased to announce the appointments of Cynthia, Alicia, Cody and Rachel, who will add tremendous value to our market centers and agents as they work to help entrepreneurs succeed amid market headwinds,” KW President and CEO Mark Willis said in a prepared statement. “These accomplished leaders are committed to our shared success and growth at Keller Williams.”
“We work with our agents to build worthwhile careers, worthwhile businesses, worthwhile lives, worthwhile experiences and worthwhile legacies,” he added.
Mr. Lee and Mr. Shepherd have been leading KW Commercial since the fourth quarter of 2021, with Mr. Lee leading the division’s strategy and growth and Mr. Shepherd leading education and training efforts. Their new roles are consistent with their previous responsibilities, with Mr. Lee continuing to strengthen the division’s growth and Ms. Shepherd continuing to enhance the skill sets of KW Commercial’s agents and brokers.
“Commercial agents can now dream big and realize their lives in a planned way,” Lee said in a statement. “With us, agents will embark on a journey to maximize their prosperity and productivity through unique training and live events, while fostering the atmosphere of accountability and strong culture that KW is known for.”
Shepherd added: “At KW Commercial we can support any agent, whatever their level of success. Agents no longer need to look to outdated institutional investors to give their business the most professional and competitive edge.”
Like Lee and Shepherd, Gibson is a longtime veteran of Keller Williams, having served as operations manager for six market centers and CEO of Portland Real Estate Group and United Home Group. Gibson will spearhead KW MAPS coaching initiatives, the latest of which is PULSE, a subscription-based coaching and training program.
“Having grown up at KW, it is an honor for me to be named MAPS vice president of coaching,” Gibson said in a prepared statement. “Coaching is the bridge that helps us move from where we are to where we want to be in our lives and careers.”
“Whether you’re managing a solo agent business, building a local real estate team, leading a business expansion or launching and growing a market center, a MAPS coach will provide a powerful, customized experience to support you in your goals and journey to success,” he added.
Finally, Elder is a nonprofit expert who most recently worked at Austin-based Beacon Nonprofit Consulting, which helps nonprofits raise funds more effectively. In his new role at KW Cares, Elder will use his expertise to generate new fundraising initiatives.
“I am honored to be a part of KW Cares and see firsthand the incredible empowerment, support and upliftment we provide to KW agents and their families,” Elder said in the release. “The work we do is transformative and has a lasting impact on people’s lives.”
“I continue to be inspired by the work and culture at KW,” she added. “There’s a real sense of family helping family here.”
