Vice President Kamala Harris made a surprise appearance on Saturday’s “SNL,” the last show before Tuesday’s election.
After an unscheduled stop in New York on Air Force 2, she appeared outside in the cold opposite Maya Rudolph, who plays Harris. The two faced each other through an imaginary mirror.

The studio audience cheered for nearly 30 seconds before Harris uttered her first line: “It’s nice to meet you, Kamala.”
She went on to give a short pep talk to “herself,” saying, “I’m here to remind you, you understand that, because you can do what the other person can’t do. Because you can… you can open the door.”
