Jostin’s announced the introduction of new pollinator-friendly badges that will appear on all Jostin’s® packaging. The announcement coincides with National Pollinator Month (June) and recognizes that many Jostin’s® products would not be possible without the help of pollinators. Consumers will begin seeing the pollinator-friendly badges on packaging starting this month, with a full rollout across retailers and product types over the coming months.
In addition to introducing new pollinator-friendly badging across its packaging, Justin’s is celebrating National Pollinator Month by donating $25,000 to Project Apis m. to further fund research to improve the health and vitality of honeybees. This donation to Project Apis m. is part of $85,000 Justin’s will donate in 2024 to support pollinator conservation efforts with People & Pollinators Action Network, Growing Gardens and the Xerces Society. Justin’s is also a proud and long-time supporter of the National Honey Board’s Honey Saves Hives, an annual campaign that educates consumers about the important role honey, bees and beekeepers play in our daily lives.
To further raise awareness and education about the need to protect pollinators, Justin’s is once again running a digital campaign this National Pollinator Month. The campaign creatively highlights the important role pollinators play in our food system, including the “Help Justin’s Help Bees” video, which invites viewers to see what would happen if Justin’s removed the pollinators from one in every three bites served to restaurant patrons.
Given the important role pollinators play in many JUSTIN’S® products, Justin’s is committed to working with national, state and local organizations that work to protect pollinators through habitat conservation and enhancement, sustainable agriculture, research and education.
