Weeks after the verdict in a domestic assault case, Jonathan Majors is giving his first television interview.
Majors has remained silent since the incident ended, but decided to clarify his position in an interview with TMZ’s ABC newscaster Lindsey Davis. report.
ABC told the outlet that the interview will be aired on “Good Morning America” on Monday.
Majors was acquitted of two counts of assault and harassment, but was found guilty of two other counts of assault and harassment.
After the verdict, Priya Chaudhry, Majors’ attorney, released a statement obtained by Extra, saying, “The jury did not believe Grace Jabari’s story about what happened inside the SUV. “That is clear because we have determined that Mr. Majors did not intentionally cause the accident.” No matter what injuries she had to her. We are grateful for that. ”
“However, we are disappointed that even though we do not believe Mr. Jabari, the jury found that Mr. Majors was somehow reckless during his attack on Mr. Jabari.” Mr. Dolly continued. “Mr. Majors would like to thank God, his family, friends, and fans for their love and support during this harrowing eight months.”
Mr. Chaudhry concluded his statement by saying: Majors still believes in the process and looks forward to once and for all clearing his name.”
The major Hollywood star was on the rise until he was arrested in March for the incident that sparked the allegations.
The fallout from the allegations was immediate, and he was dropped from advertising campaigns and films. His latest film, “Magazine Dreams,” had been talked about for an Oscar, but was shelved.
Following Monday’s ruling, Marvel Studios immediately dropped Majors, who was scheduled to reprise his role as the Conqueror Kang in Avengers: Dynasty of Kang. He originally played the role in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.”
