On Monday, JoJo Siwa made a head-turning look on the yellow carpet at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Extra’s Megan Wright spoke with JoJo about how she faced “harsh” criticism during her transition from child star to adult.
She said: “I think people forget that my whole life has been criticized and judged and looked at. It’s not easy. It’s very hard. I’ve had a lot of people say really horrible things to me, but I… I have very good connections.”
Siwa also sang on the single “Karma” which will be released on April 5th.
Her music also inspired her red carpet look, and Siwa wanted it to be “as loud as possible.” She added, “This is my ‘Karma’ music video costume.” This is my black beast. I love it. “
Regarding the single, JoJo said, “April 4th at midnight…’Karma’ is my baby. That’s right. ‘Karma’ is my baby, ‘Karma’ is my baby, that’s for sure…I’m really excited. . It’s been in development for two years, so it’s a big deal to finally have it completed. ”
