Jill Duggar Dillard, 32, and her husband Derick Dillard are mourning the loss of their stillborn baby girl.
they wrote this Instagram“💔We are so sad to announce the stillbirth of our beautiful baby girl, Ira Marie Dillard. Jill was 4 months pregnant when we found out our baby died in utero. (She was due to give birth in August).
The post continued, “From the moment we found out we were pregnant, we couldn’t wait to meet our baby. Isla was so loved from the start and her three older brothers were excited to introduce her to their world. I was very excited about it.”
Jill and Derrick added: “Thank you for your prayers as we continue to grieve and heal from the loss of little Ira Marie. 😭🩷.”
It also included a photo of themselves holding pink items and feeling sad.
The couple, who are parents to Israel, 9, Samuel, 6, and Frederick, 21 months, received support from their family in the comments.
Jill’s sister Ginger Vuolo wrote: I will continue to support you in my prayers. Sweet Isla will be greatly missed. 💔”
Duggar’s cousin Amy said: “Isla Marie is such a beautiful name and meaning. I will continue to pray. God has a plan to overcome every heartbreak. You are in my heart. You have been and will always be in our prayers 💕 We love you all so much.”
Jill told her, “I love you!”
Derrick’s sister-in-law wrote: we continue to pray. Ira Marie is much loved. She will forever be our first girl. 💗”
Jill replied, “Thank you so much, sis!!” 💞😭”
