The lawsuit calls for MIT to fire administrators, professors, and other university officials and staff who are “responsible for the anti-Semitic abuses that pervade the school,” and to suspend or expel students or student groups. It calls for “comprehensive and meaningful corrective measures” to be taken. Communicate widely that MIT “condemns, investigates, and punishes acts that discriminate against or harass members of the Jewish community.”
MIT “blatantly and willfully disregarded its legal obligations to its students, resulting in harm to Plaintiff and other students, including their educational experiences,” the complaint states.

The complaint alleges that Jewish professors reported incidents in which MIT students were shouting loudly outside their offices, rattling doors, disrupting the academic environment, and threatening faculty members. One professor described an incident in which Jewish and Israeli MIT students were physically prevented from attending class by a hostile group of pro-Hamas and anti-Israel MIT students.

Jewish students say that rather than dispersing anti-Semitic mobs on campus, MIT warned Jewish students to stay away from certain areas, effectively banishing Jewish and Israeli students from their own homes. He testified that there were no repercussions for students who violated school rules and created an unsafe environment. Jewish students, according to the complaint.
