JetBlue has not seen the future in Miami, so it dropped Florida hotspots from the route map as part of a broader effort to reduce profitability.
The New York-based airline will end service at Miami International Airport (MIA) on September 3, and will move flights to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) on October 25 to Summer Seasonal Services, scheduled data from the show at aerial analytics firm Cirium. A JetBlue spokesperson confirmed the changes and said it was part of an ongoing programme, “coordinating flights optimally with demand and regularly to support a broader growth strategy.”
