Jessica Simpson’s kids are back to school!
The 44-year-old singer posted a series of rare photos of her three children – Maxwell, 12, Ace, 11, and Birdie, five – posing in their school uniforms.
In the caption, Simpson wrote, “Maxwell, Ace and Birdie, you all make your mommy shine with your smiles and grace! Take each step of this new school year in your own way! I’m so proud of you all for shining your own light and helping others shine in return.”
Jessica, who has children with husband Eric Johnson, wore a lime green maxi dress for the occasion, pairing it with leopard print boots and accessorizing with turquoise jewelry and bold sunglasses.
Last year, Extra interviewed Jessica, where she opened up about being a mother. She said, “Being a mother is probably the most challenging thing anyone can do, and it motivates me to work hard and be the best version of myself, so that people can look at me as an icon, just like I look at my mom.”
