On Tuesday, Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck.
According to court documents obtained by Extra, Lopez requested that her name be changed back to Jennifer Lynn Lopez.
When they got married in 2022, Jennifer changed her name to Jennifer Lynn Affleck.
She also asked that neither party be awarded spousal support and that each party pay their own attorney’s fees.
With regard to community property, Jennifer stated that “the exact nature and extent of the community property and quasi-community property assets and obligations are unknown to the petitioners at this time and will be determined in the future.”
It’s possible that the couple never signed a prenuptial agreement, as Jennifer didn’t mention it in her divorce papers.
The two have been married for two years, according to TMZ. Reports Anything earned during that time may be considered community property.
Lopez is reportedly worth $400 million thanks to her music, film and business ventures, while Ben is said to be worth around $150 million.
Ben’s recent acting work includes films like “Air” and the recently filmed “Accountant 2,” as well as serving as a producer on projects like “Thirst” and “Apostle Paul.”
Jennifer has also been busy, having recently appeared in films such as “Shotgun Wedding,” “The Mother” and “Atlas,” as well as starring in her own project, “This Is Me… Now.”
J.Lo’s musical endeavors include the “This Is Me… Now” album as well as recent music videos such as “Rebound” and “Can’t Get Enough.”
