Jennifer Lopez stuns on the red carpet at the premiere of her upcoming movie “This Is Me…Now: A Love Story,” which will be released on Prime Video on Friday.
Lopez was at the venue with her husband Ben Affleck, but went alone to talk to Extra’s Terry Seymour.
J.Lo said: “I was just on the carpet with Jen Salke from Amazon.” [head of Amazon Studios], ended up buying our little independent film. She was like, “Can you believe we’re here?” And I was like, ‘No, that’s great, thank you.’ ”
Lopez self-financed the film, spending $20 million on it. She told Terry: “No one else wanted to do it, so I had to do it…I felt very strongly that this story had to be shared…I felt it was worth making.”
The star further added, “David Myers directed this…He was very open to everything I wanted to share. He kept saying, ‘This is your vision’…He was very He is a collaborator and has no ego at all, so we were able to really work together and create something great.”
Terry asked if he ever wondered, “Why am I doing this?”
Jennifer said: “I think a lot of times when you’re working on a project and you’re putting your heart and soul into it, you ask yourself, ‘Why am I doing this again?’” That’s part of being an artist. and constantly second-guessing themselves and their fears. I think the people who get things done are the ones who do it even when they feel fear. Like I said, you just have to be scared. ”

Jen also talked about sharing a book of private love letters from Ben with her musical collaborators, which will be featured in her upcoming documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told.
she recalled. “When they started seeing what was going on and the story that was unfolding and how hard it was to make it, it just seemed like behind the scenes became something else. You know? ?” So they had all these things, including me, and they showed the book to the producers that I was going to work with and said, “We’re going to make this album.” Ta. This is the truth. This is its basis. ‘And we went into the studio and wrote those songs, and the first song was “The Greatest Love Story Never Told,” which was inspired by a gift Ben gave me. ”
Terry also complimented her on the Super Bowl commercial she co-starred with Ben for Dunkin Donuts, which fans said was the best. Jennifer smiled and replied, “Thank you.”
“This Is Me… Now: A Love Story” will be available on Prime Video on February 16th, the same day as the release of the “This Is Me… Now” album.
