After countless breakup rumors, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have officially split after two years of marriage.
Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on Tuesday, in court documents obtained by “Extra.”
According to TMZLopez filed the documents without a lawyer, and Jennifer listed the date of separation as April 26. The documents make no mention of a prenuptial agreement, and sources told the outlet that the couple never signed one.
She has also waived her right to spousal support.
The two were married on July 16, 2022 in Las Vegas.
The date Jennifer chose to file her lawsuit, Aug. 20, is significant because it marks the second anniversary of her second, more lavish wedding in Georgia.
Just a few weeks ago, Affleck closed on a purchase and sale deal for a Pacific Palisades home, further fueling rumors that the couple was headed for divorce.
Ben and Jen recently put their co-op on the market for $68 million. The couple didn’t even make it to their second wedding anniversary together.
Fresh off the release of Jennifer Lopez’s self-financed film, “This Is Me… Now: A Love Story,” in which Ben makes a brief appearance, rumours have been swirling about trouble in paradise.
Rumours first began circulating in May when Affleck was spotted leaving the Brentwood, California residence where he was staying.
Adding to the speculation, J.Lo was also spotted house-hunting in Los Angeles without him.

Marsac captioned the post: “We can’t have a relationship with someone who is separate from us. We can’t expect someone to see us when they can’t even see themselves. It’s easy to build a relationship, but nurturing and nurturing it is another story. After all, love is not a feeling, it’s an action.”
The post explains why you “cannot have a healthy relationship” with someone who lacks emotional safety, honesty, respects other people’s time, and is poor communicator.
Though they were eventually spotted together in June, Jennifer and Ben spent the summer apart.
