More than four months after Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, a settlement has been reached.
According to court documents obtained by Extra, the couple agreed to take home what each of them had personally earned during their marriage.
Although Ben and Jennifer worked together on films such as “Unstoppable,” Ben and Jennifer also had their own projects and companies that earned them separate incomes.
During their marriage, Ben founded the production company Artist Equity with his best friend Matt Damon. Through their company, they produced Air, The Instigators, Small Things Like These, and The Accountant 2.
While they were together, Jennifer released “Atlas,” “This Is Me… Now,” “The Mother,” “Shotgun Wedding” and “Marry Me.”
Since the couple did not have a prenup, they would normally have to split all the money they earned, but this settlement appears to be a win-win for both parties.
According to the paper, the divorce is expected to be finalized next month.
The news came just a day after Jennifer visited Ben at his home in Los Angeles in photos. obtained by DailyMail.com.
A source recently said, Page 6 Affleck and Lopez said they plan to remain in each other’s lives, saying, “Even though we’re not romantically involved, we both intend to continue to be a part of each other’s lives.”
They added, “Ben and Jennifer remain connected and communicate when their children are involved.”
Lopez recently shared her perspective on life’s challenges: british vogue“I think the way to get through things is to think about it not as something that happened to you, but as something that happened for you and what is the lesson to be learned in that moment. If you keep a more positive mindset about it, it will be easier to accept it as a lesson.”
