Jay-Z just brought a big legal victory!
A sexual assault lawsuit accused of raping Sean “Diddy” Combs and 13-year-old has been dismissed in 2000.
The filing of voluntary dismissal for bias was filed Friday in New York by accusers attorneys Tony Buzby and Antigon Curris.
Jay-Z called the fire “win.” Roc Nation’s X Account, “A frivolous, fictitious, and appalling allegation has been dismissed. This civil lawsuit has no merit and is not going anywhere. The fictional story they created is the one that is the seriousness of the claim. It was hilarious, if not for it. I don’t want this experience from anyone. I can never dismiss the trauma I endured, my wife, my children, my loved ones and the trauma I endured. ”
He continued. “This 1-800 lawyer will start to sue in hiding behind Jane Doe and when they quickly realize that their money grabs will fail, they can leave without affecting them. The system has failed. Of course, the court must protect the victim, but the same ethical liability is held, but the court protects the innocent from being charged without fragments of evidence. It must be done. May the truth of all the victims and those who were falsely accused win.”
In an “Extra” statement, Jay-Z’s lawyer Alex Spiro said, “A false case against Jay-Z should never be brought about, but it was dismissed due to bias. It faced the allegations that he was heinous and false. By standing up, Jay did what he had done with a few things. He was pushed back, restless, and he never paid for one red penny.
Last year, Spiro managed to reach the dismissal of Alec Baldwin’s involuntary manslaughter charges related to the “rust” shooting that killed cinematologist Harina Hutchins. The judge dismissed Baldwin’s case due to bias.
Buzee represents dozens of clients in civil cases where Rap Mogul has accused the comb of rape, battery and abuse that he violently denied.
Earlier this month, Jay-Z’s legal team rescinded a complaint against Bouzy, who filed a lawsuit on behalf of Jane Doe.
In a letter to Judge Analisa Torres deadlineHis legal team said, “Writing on behalf of defendant Shaun Carter, and pleading Carter’s allegations for sanctions in accordance with Carter’s civil litigation control, and demanding that it be withdrawn at this point without prejudice. I discussed this issue with the plaintiff’s lawyer who agreed to this submission and agreed that the withdrawal was not biased.”
In December, Jay-Z vehemently denied allegations of raping a teenage girl with a comb.
Later that month, Spiro nurtured a contradiction in his accuser’s story in a presentation at the ROC Nation.
After conducting an NBC News interview with Accuser, he looked into the woman’s timeline of what happened and said, “I won’t check out. This never happened.”
Spiro added.[Diddy and Jay-Z] They had to leave Radio City, they had to go to commercial facilities. [where they were photographed following the award show]…and then back to [aforementioned] White House before she left at 12:30am [to give her enough time to get to a gas station and call her father]. This doesn’t work. ”
Calling Buzbee, Spiro said: She’s talking about her problems, her brain trauma. She has gone through a lot in her life. Who used this? Why are we here? Why is this story being created? I tell you… this lawyer took advantage of this. That’s what’s happening here. ”
Spiro claimed: Carter has nothing to do with Mr. Combs’ case or Mr. Combs. They knew each other professionally for years. Like all professions, people know each other. ”
