Jax Taylor has opened up about the moment he found out his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright was texting his friend Julianne.
Brittany previously spoke about the affair on Bravo’s Nov. 11 show.hot mic” And now Jax is telling his side of the story on the same podcast.
“We were sitting in my house and her phone was on the coffee table,” he explained on the Nov. 14 episode. “Then a message popped up and I looked and it was a simple message from Julian. But it was night and it was a very strange message so I called her about it. I told her how many I told her a lie, but within an hour of our conversation, she finally relented and told me.
He claimed: “I don’t think it would have bothered me if it had been a stranger. I didn’t see anyone for a whole five or six months, and it kept going.”

According to Taylor, he and Brittany were still close until July, when he learned of the allegations that Brittany had been sending nude photos to Julianne.
“She was upstairs cleaning at the time and I saw her still talking to Julian and sending him naked pictures and pictures of her son,” Jax explained. “I lost it. So I hit the bottom of the barrel, and all I saw was red. I had an out-of-body experience, and I’m not going to lie. I… I went crazy.”
The reality star, who has had affairs in the past, confessed, “I definitely got a taste of my own medicine.”
He concluded, “I want her to meet someone, just not someone I know.”

When Cartwright spoke to “Hot Mike,” she claimed there was never talk within her friend group of not dating.
“There was no no-dating policy in the friend group,” she said. “We never talked about it. Why talk? First of all, I never thought I’d end up dating his friend. It wasn’t planned. I… I wasn’t trying to go after one of his friends. That didn’t happen.”
She further added, “It was the kind of person I knew and was in our world.” “It’s really crazy, because how do you trust people? And I was single for the first time in L.A.”
Jax and Brittany had been married for four years. She filed for divorce in August.
