Jack Quaid and Amber Midlander sat down with “Extra” to talk about their new action thriller, “Novocaine.”
Quaid plays a man who can’t feel physical pain. He turns his rare state into an unexpected advantage when he fights to save his dream girl (Amber) after being lured.
Jack said of his character: I try to really think about it from an emotional place, like a very protected person who needs to keep his arms away from the world for his own safety.
They also talked about the action in the film. I saw Jack bear the brunt of the blow!
Amber added Jack, “As long as I proceeded, I was just a coast run of sorts.”
Thankfully, he was not injured.
Jack also revealed he is on his way to film the final season of “The Boy.”
“I’m currently working on season 5 of ‘Boys’,” he said. “I’m in Toronto. It’s our last season. It’s going to be very bittersweet, but we’re done filming and it’s going to be great. I’ll miss everyone.”
Quaid added: “Last season was incredible. I think it’s a really great reward.”
“Novocaine” will be on March 14th.
