Bucs need to fill the internal linebacker room with talent. The Pewter Report discussed this It’s written and video It will continue until needed, whether it is a regular formation and free agency or through the 2025 NFL Draft.
Everyone knows the high-end veterans and prospects they are considering. Free agency headlines include Nick Bolton of Kansas City, Zack Boun of Philadelphia and Ernest Jones of Seattle, while Alabama’s Jihad Campbell and Ole Miss’ Chris Paul Jr. are two of the top players in the draft. Depending on the orientation of Tampa Bay, all value options must be on the table.
That’s where Notre Dame’s Jack Kiser comes in among the linebackers.
Kiser stock rose last month after the week of the Advanced Bowl. He is someone that can target general manager Jason Licht and the front office in the mid-round.
Jack Kiser has a skill set that fits Bucs defenses
Jack Kiser spent six years at Notre Dame Fighting Ireland, and some of his best jobs came to this past season while captaining the defense of the National Championship Game. Kiser played in 16 games, earning a total of 90 tackles, five losses and two sacks.
He did not record any intercepts in 2024, but he had four intercepts and two intercepts during his time with the Irish, making his abilities shine fully with pass coverage. This was presented through the 2025 Lease Senior Bowl Practice. There he had two intercepts and read the plays before they happened.

Midway through an impressive week, Kiser spoke to Pewter’s report about how he honed his reporting skills for top talent at Notre Dame.
“I mean, I went back to Notre Dame and did it one-on-one and learned the best things about the techniques and what you’re actually supposed to do.” Kaiser said. “It’s really about understanding your leverage as discipline and just putting them one way to the end of the day. I was very fortunate.
“Back to Notre Dame, I was against it [running backs] Jeremiah’s love and Jadalian’s price, and they are really good people. I’ve been prepared and tested throughout the season, and now I have the opportunity to compete with the best. I’m ready to seize the opportunity and the moment. ”
Looking at the fit, there’s no doubt he’s playing a role in head coach Todd Bowles’ defense. Sirvocea Dennis profiles as an internal reporting for the linebacker, but his availability has been a concern since entering the league. With the middle of the field exposed by both the opposite wide receiver and tight end, having another plus-cover linebacker means that the bowl mixes players and matches his defensive game plan. You can do it.
Even if Lavonte David returns to his 14th NFL season and JJ Russell returns with a restricted free agency bid, adding one or two other players to the position room wouldn’t hurt. It may be a great market addition, but it’s always worth finding, and Kiser is the potential name for one of the bottles.
Jack Kiser said, “I was there and did it.”

This past season has been an exclamation point for Jack Kiser’s college career, but he has gained a lot of experience in college football.
Kiser will be 25 at the start of the 2025 NFL season. This is one of his biggest knocks. However, the silver lining means he is more NFL-enabled than other players in his position after playing 69 games in these six seasons.
“I think it’s going to show you that I can play long distances, right?” Kaiser said. “I’ve been through a 20-week season and I’m mentally and physically ready, and that’s the first one. But then I have experience. I’ve got things You can recognize it. I went there and did it. I’ve seen things, but it gives you a little more perspective, but also an understanding of how football works. Give it. Maybe it gives me a certain advantage over the younger man.”
Currently, we expect Kiser to have a grade of 4-5 rounds. He runs as a rookie with the instinct, background and leadership qualities that fit into the Bucs locker room.
If so, I don’t know yet One of his former combat Irish teammates will return to Tampa Bay next seasonbut he wants to come down, enjoy the weather and meet him again.
“I want to be there,” Kaiser said. “The weather is great, but the guys in the locker room are watching. I know [center] Robert Hainesey is there, he was a former Notre Dame man and an incredible man. To be able to go there and be with him – that’s amazing. ”
