Firstly, nothing gives you more confidence than stepping onto the track knowing you’ve put in the effort.
Mental confidence is a big part of my sport and the energy that comes from knowing I’m at my strongest really makes me feel great, so I’ve made it a habit to train consistently, work hard and push my limits every day.
When it comes to products, I like to have a skincare routine before I head to the track (or do anything) that leaves me feeling fresh and glowing.
I love moisturizing, and using a moisturizer with SPF and a face mist always makes my skin look more radiant. CeraVe Vitamin C Serum and Summer Friday Shade Drops SPF 30 Mineral Milk Sunscreen.
Music can be a game changer for me.
When I’m in the shower, getting ready to go out, or needing a boost before a race, I’ll listen to songs like “Wanna Be” by Megan Thee Stallion at full volume to help me focus. For me, it’s all about having the mindset to own my space, feel powerful, and give myself hero energy.
Nothing beats a great outfit.
I maintain a healthy balance in my wardrobe: I love stylish athleisure styles that let me show off my sporty and fun side (like this pair with some cool New Balance sneaker collabs) and pretty dresses for a night out that let me show off my feminine side. Wearing things that make me feel strong and beautiful instantly boosts my confidence.
At the end of the day, passion comes from within. It’s about embracing the moment I’m in and expressing my true self.
