Delivery drivers on apps like Instacart regularly post about not getting tips from their customers. However, some find silver lining in their gigs when their customers either: cancel or ignore Receive orders and earn free groceries.
This is what user Victoria Wilkins (@sagetori111) says happened after receiving $300 worth of merchandise from a Publix location.

While panning a ton of groceries, Victoria writes in the video’s text overlay:
In the clip, she shows a large package of poultry, along with bottles of juice, mashed potato mix, bread, mugs of oil, chips, lean meats, produce, and various other products.
In her video caption, she provides additional context on how she managed to get so much free food.
Instacart users have previously reported being able to pick up customer orders when the customer neglected to pick up the item or marked delivery as complete.
Several instacart shopper Claims that if the customer is a no-show, he was instructed to return the groceries to the original grocery store from which they purchased them.
However, some delivery drivers simply leave food canceled/ Non-pickup orders, as Wilkins did.
In the comments section, Wilkins responded to one user who speculated that getting lots of free food “must have helped.” [her] A lot,” she replied, “Really.”
However, other users have come up with ways for Ms. Wilkins to use deliveries to her advantage. Selling products at discounted prices. “I would have brought it to the original customer and sold the order with her 50% off on receipt,” they shared.
Some viewers were shocked that groceries cost a whopping $300. First inflation spike in 40 years saw it significant increase in recent years.
“I can’t believe $300 for groceries. It’s so sad,” wrote one user. Wilkins said the groceries are from his Publix, which has been criticized for its high prices compared to other supermarkets his chain.
