Israel is under attack. Just hearing that announcement made our hearts feel heavy. Maybe you, like me, couldn’t look away from the following news reports.
- More than 1,300 Jews have died as of this writing. A similar death toll among Palestinians.
- Brutal acts against children and the elderly.
- More than 100 hostages were taken.
- Innocent Palestinians trapped in Gaza, tired of the siege.
- Skirmishes with Hezbollah in northern Israel.
- A missile hits the Israeli sky.
- Iran is suspected of being complicit in the attack.
Add to this the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. But our world is once again hurting, anxious, and exhausted. It feels surreal. How should I respond? How should I deal with it? How should we handle all this confusion?
Jesus told us that such a thing would happen. “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Be careful not to worry. All these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Nation against nation. For kingdom will rise against kingdom” (Matt. 24:6-7).
I’m in the fox field in Jerusalem.I have seen the horrors of Hamas and it was very shocking.
Over the past 3,400 years of recorded history, humans have been without war for only 268 years, or 8% of the time.
Cain was violent at first. We are still violent. However, over the past few decades, the world has seen violence escalate to new levels. The phrase “nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom” is a Hebrew idiom for world war. Global conflicts indicate that the end of this era is near.
Have you seen this? yes. Twice in the last century, this conflict was so universal that such a term was born. World war. More people died in war in the 20th century than in all other centuries combined.
We live in constant fear of global destruction. If one person presses one button, a nuclear disaster can occur. Russia invaded Ukraine. China is threatening Taiwan. Israel feels caught between Hamas in the south and Hezbollah in the north.

I don’t have a national security clearance, but you can Google it. So I Googled the question “How many countries have nuclear weapons?” and the answer was 9! According to one report, “Only one U.S. nuclear submarine has nuclear weapons… These warheads have seven times the destructive power of all bombs dropped during World War II.” II also includes the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan. ”
It’s all good news.
The 21-year-old son of an Israeli-American was killed in a Hamas attack.This is what we want the world to know
Actually, I have good news, great news.
It is as follows: Jesus, He who warned us about these days, will deliver us from them. The pain of childbirth will continue. The frequency of deception and division will increase, but Jesus will protect us until He comes and will save us when He comes. Therefore, Jesus spoke these words: “Be careful not to be anxious” (Matthew 24:6).
How can I do this?
First, make sure it’s saved. Jesus Christ died on the cross for sinners like you and me. “He does not want anyone to be lost, but he wants all people to be transformed in their hearts and lives” (2 Peter 3:9).
Have you given your heart to him? If not, please do so. he loves you You are not made to experience the coming turmoil. It’s nearing the end. You don’t want to face your final hours without your Savior. Tell them that you are a sinner and that Jesus is your Savior. “…all who call on the Lord will be saved…” (Romans 10:13).

Next, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:6) Israel is special to God through the covenant. Jesus was born there. he died there. He’ll get up from there and get back out there. No wonder this small nation of Israel is the most conflict-ridden land in history. It is the setting for God’s story of salvation. Please hurry and pray for the people of Israel.
And finally, don’t panic. Don’t let the confusion overwhelm you. last. Please be strong.
Hold fast to Bible verses like Psalm 37.
Trust in the Lord and wait.
8 Please don’t get angry.
Don’t get upset. That will only lead to trouble.
9 The wicked will be driven away;
But those who trust in the Lord will inherit the land.
10 After a while, the wicked will be gone.
You can look for it, but it’s gone.
11 He who is not proud will inherit the earth
And you will enjoy perfect peace.
12 Evil people plan evil against good people.
They gnash their teeth at them in anger.
13 But the Lord laughs at the wicked;
Because he knows their day is coming.
