Austin, Texas – Lone Star Americans shared how familiar they are with artificial intelligence and how much they’re taking advantage of rapidly evolving technology.
“I like using ChatGPT just to ask stupid questions and do silly things,” Gabriel, who lives in Austin, told Fox News. “But other than that, we don’t use AI much.”

AI has advanced rapidly in recent months, making tools like ChatGPT more accessible and easier to use for more people. But the majority of people interviewed by Fox News said they don’t use AI technology in their daily lives.
Others, like Kiria, say they don’t know enough about AI to say, “I don’t know what to do with it.” But Dewey was particularly knowledgeable because his tech job required him to use AI every day.

“I design software and train programming teams, so I use software quite often,” he told Fox News. “We use his ChatGPT and also his TensorFlow from Google to build apps and websites.”

Christine, who was visiting from Los Angeles, told Fox News that she was not “the AI of that generation.”
“I’m a wound nurse,” she said. “I don’t think we’ll ever use AI for that sort of thing.”

Killea was more open to technology. She said she doesn’t use AI now, but in a few years she might.
”Maybe in the future it will become more common,” she told Fox News, adding, “So I feel like it could definitely become a part of my daily life eventually. .”
