DC Young Frye has broken his silence following the death of longtime partner Jackie O.
“I didn’t mean to post this in a hurry because I really wanted it to be a dream, but every hour I’m reminded of reality (sic) and I want to applaud you in the right way.” the comedian said. Released a moving statement on the 31st thursday on instagram.
“You are the best mother. I know your soul was beautiful. Yu always wanted to do the best for others, and I hope that our family will love each other.” I’m impressed!!!” he added. “We didn’t have to worry about our kids loving each other because you were the best!!!”
DC also spoke about the important role Faith played in his and Jackie’s lives.
“As you know, we fear God and we are spirited🙏🏾🙏🏾We never doubt higher powers🙅🏾♂️We are quick-witted I will continue to live a life of justice.”
He said he will always tell his three children how Jackie is a “wonderful person” and a “great mother”.
He writes: “You know how our last conversation went 🥺 I prayed for Yuu and now we are here. BECAUSE ALL WE KNOW!! I love you forever and our kids are so strong💪🏾they help me with my peace no cap!!!!!! Whit me forever ♥️ My children’s queen will always have a spot in my heart and in paradise 😫 (oh get me 🥲 but it’s true)”
Jackie, whose real name was Jacklyn Smith, died on May 31 at the age of 33.

DC, whose real name is John Whitfield, was reportedly filming an MTV series produced by Nick Cannon in Atlanta when he heard the news.
DC ended the post by declaring their eternal love for Jackie. “Love you forever, I know we are trying harder than ever, but God is in control and has protected us 🙏🏾🙏🏾.”
