The first step in solving any problem is admitting that there is a problem. The results of the 2022 midterm elections have proven that the Republican Party is in a crisis of youth. The biggest challenge facing Republicans is their inability to resonate with the most influential voting bloc of our voters, my generation, Generation Z.
I turned 25 just weeks before winning the Republican nomination in New Hampshire. Among many reasons, I ran for Congress because I recognized the urgent need to bring a youthful voice to our party and fight back against the rapid left-wing indoctrination of my generation. I was raised to understand the basic values of our country: faith, family, and freedom. These values are unusually unpopular among peers. Generation Z has been indoctrinated as dishonest, anti-American and self-proclaimed socialist who cares more about changing their gender than paying the bills.
The 2022 midterm elections will be the first electoral test of Gen Z American influence, and the Republican Party will be disastrous. From the age of 18 he saw 29-year-olds flood the polling stations to vote for the Democratic nominee. In House elections like mine, his 63% of Generation Z Americans voted Democrat. In every constituency across the country, young people aged 18 to her 29 voted Democrat by 28 points behind her. In contrast, her 65-plus voter base in the Republican Party has been trending downward, with him voting only 13 points for the Republican Party.
Despite my youth and energetic grassroots movement, I was no exception. I was defeated by my generation’s hand against a fiercely contested race. Thousands of students at my district’s college campus, the University of New Hampshire, have taken advantage of New Hampshire’s same-day enrollment law to end what they see as a “threat to democracy” and make it their number one priority. You voted against me to protect the “right to abortion.”
Student loan debt is a big problem for Gen Z. On August 25, 2022, in Washington, D.C., borrowers rally in front of the White House to celebrate President Biden’s cancellation of student debt and begin the fight to cancel the remaining debt. .

By 2024, Generation Z and Millennials will make up nearly half of the electorate, completely replacing Baby Boomers. The future of the Republican Party, and the future of America, literally rests in the hands of these young, awakened ideologies.
Republicans, including establishment leaders, donors, and grassroots voters, must acknowledge this issue and ask the tough questions — all of our country, from TikToks and mainstream media to colleges of higher education. How can you counter leftist messages from powerful institutions in the system and Hollywood? How can we compete with the Democrats, who openly promise free stuff to the richest generation in history?
First, we need to talk about the issues we know concern America’s youth: the environment, the lack of access to higher education, the lack of affordable housing, and economic opportunity. Making these issues part of the party platform can engage younger voters and educate them about conservative principles.
Republicans, for example, cannot continue to allow Democrats to continue to have issues as popular and simple as environmental protection. Republicans also want clean water, air and forests, so instead of allowing Democrats to portray us as evil earth haters who want to end the planet in 10 years, why not say so? Huh? If we keep burying our heads in the sand on issues perceived as “Democrats” and only talk about what we disagree with, then what do we want from the opposition? gives the freedom to erroneously stipulate
Perhaps even more important than tailoring our message is sharing it in the mediums used by younger voters. Nearly 75% of Gen Z Americans read their daily news on social media. is. But Democrats have invested millions more in digital advertising than Republicans. You cannot get your message across to young voters if you refuse to meet them where they are. And until TikTok is (hopefully) completely banned, we cannot ignore it. Republicans are nowhere to be found in this much-used app. It gives Democrats a unique, free and powerful platform to indoctrinate America’s youth.

Finally, Republicans must aggressively reform America’s most important institution, the public school system. The battle to reclaim our culture and cure the waking cancer that has infected our children’s minds must take place where they meet each day: in the classroom. Our nation’s waning patriotism begins and ends in American schools, as evidenced by the removal of the names of historical figures like Abraham Lincoln from school buildings.
Instead of spending millions of dollars attacking fellow Republicans in the primaries (as happened to me in my race), the Republican establishment decided to run school boards in every state across the country. We need to invest in elections to elect common sense individuals who will fire awakened school administrators. bad teacher.

Rather than endorse billions of taxpayers to Ukraine, Republican leadership pushes for a massive overhaul of the failed Common Core System and a rigorous academic plan to raise literacy and math levels. Republicans should act like Democrats, introducing radical gender ideologies and critical race theories, and pumping tax dollars into school districts that are under-educating their students. Then came the time to threaten.
Every day, young Americans turn 18 and wake up relentlessly ready to join left-wing cults on college campuses. In this 24/7 digital age, the young man is more engaged than ever because voter registration is as easy as downloading his Snapchat on his iPhone. For these reasons, Generation Z, because we know her and love her, is taught to be her greatest and growing threat to America. Republicans must act aggressively and quickly before it’s too late.
