3. Hide or archive orders
Another option to keep your gift purchases private is to hide or archive your orders in your Amazon account. This will remove those items from your default order history view, so they won’t appear when you or someone else checks recent orders. - Log in to your Amazon account.
- Please click Returns and orders It’s in the top right corner. A list of orders from the past three months will be displayed.

If you don’t want to receive shipping notifications or tracking information for gift purchases, you can also turn off notifications in your Amazon account. This prevents you from receiving emails, text messages, or push notifications that could expose your gift.
To turn off shipping notifications and tracking on Amazon, follow these steps:

We all have that one obsessive person who is determined to find out what presents they bought this year. Another step to stop them from tracking you is to delete your “search history.”

- go to “Accounts and Lists” in the top right corner of your browser, Then select Recommendations
- click Browsing history (gray bar of text at the top of the screen)
- Select the gear icon on the right side of the page. This results in setting window.
- click Remove items from view button
- All recently reviewed products have been removed.
7. Use Amazon Locker or Amazon Hub
If you don’t want to have your purchased gifts shipped to your home address, you can also use Amazon Locker or Amazon Hub to pick them up at a location near you. This will prevent your package from being left on your doorstep or seen by other family members. Amazon Locker and Amazon Hub are secure, self-service kiosks where you can pick up and return Amazon packages at your convenience.
