How to set up locked folders
Locked folders are special albums in Google Photos that can only be accessed using your phone’s authentication method, such as a PIN, password, fingerprint, or facial recognition. To set up a locked folder, follow these steps:

- For Android, open Google Photos
- choose library bottom right tab
- Then click public works in the top right
- find Set locked folder Suggestions for the menu below

How to add photos to locked folders
Now that you have set up a locked folder, you will be able to add photos to it. There are two ways to do this.
SSettings may vary slightly depending on your Android smartphone manufacturer
- Open Google Photos
- Please click photograph tab
- Press and hold image Select the media files you want to hide
- Tap. locked icon along with the words Move to locked folder Under

- Then tap To give permission When asked to allow photo changes to this photo

- Or, if you only want to move one photo, photographSwipe up to select Move to locked folder

How to view locked photos
To view locked photos, you need to go back to the locked folder and unlock it with your phone’s authentication method. Here’s how:

- Open Google Photos

- then click public works
- Then tap locked folder and enter yours PIN or fingerprint
