Group texts are a convenient way to stay in touch with multiple people at the same time. However, sometimes you may accidentally join a group chat. Constant notifications can distract you from other tasks and can even make group chats a pain.
If you are an iPhone user, leaving a group chat is very easy. But before we get into that, let’s first see how to create a group chat. And if you’re an Android user, here’s how to leave a group chat on your device.
How to create group text on iPhone
Creating group texts on iPhone is incredibly easy.First, on your device Latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
- open iMessage app On iPhone
- When you open iMessage, create icon in the upper right corner
- Then type: Contact name or phone number Name of the person you want to join the group text
- Then enter yours message to message field
- To send a group text, up arrow (located next to the text input area)
To add someone to a group message, they must be using an Apple device. If you want to add people who use non-Apple devices, you’ll need to create a new group message. Because someone in the group uses a non-Apple device, this new group message will default to her SMS/MMS.
Note: If all participants in a group chat are using iPhones, the text will appear blue by default. If someone in the group has her Android, all text will appear in green.

- open iMessage app On iPhone

Delete group text you Created
If you created the group and want to permanently delete it, follow these steps:
- open iMessage app On iPhone

Delete and block spam messages in MMS groups
Starting with iOS 17, you can delete and block entire group MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) messages. In addition to standard text messages, you can send multimedia content such as photos, videos, and audio messages. Here’s how to delete and block MMS group messages.
- In an MMS group conversation, group name or number Open details view with number of participants at the top
- Tap. group icon at the beginning of the thread
- Tap Delete and block this conversation
Note: You can only remove people from group messages if your group consists of four or more people and everyone is using an Apple device (such as an iPhone or iPad). Also, already he can only add users to group messages that contain 3 or more users. He cannot add others to a message conversation he already has with only one person.
