Justin Baldoni got his big break with his role as Rafael Solano in Jane the Virgin, and he made a big splash as co-star and director of Blake Lively in Seraph of the End.
But his latest project is partnering with Purina Dog Chow at the New York Dog Film Festival, where he helped select the award-winning documentary, the moving short film “A Dog Can Make a Difference.”
Extra’s Mona Kosar Abdi spoke to Justin about the doc, which highlights the heartwarming story of a service dog helping veterans suffering from PTSD.
He said, “These animals have the ability to soothe and heal in a way that modern medicine cannot, and that’s what I loved about this movie.”
Justin also learned a few things from looking at this document. “I had no idea how prevalent PTSD was among veterans, and I had no idea how much of a difference a service dog can make in the lives of people with disabilities.” PTSD. ”
“We may be able to make a huge difference in the lives of veterans and many people with PTSD,” Baldoni emphasized. “That’s why I’m so grateful to be able to be a small part of this effort and help spread the word.”
