John Legend, Reba McIntyre, Chance the Rapper and Dan + Shay sit in rotating red chairs for the new season of ‘The Voice’!
‘Extra’s’ Megan Wright sat down with the coaches to discuss what to expect.
Dan and Shay explained how they will function as the first-ever coaching duo in Season 25.
What happens if they disagree about a contestant? The two joked, “We never disagree.”
Dan admitted it would be “tough” having only one button and two chairs. He said, “There’s only one button. There are two chairs and one button. The problem is, if one of us presses that button, you turn in either direction.” , you better learn to love it.”
Another first: Reba will be the only female judge this season after Gwen Stefani’s departure. Reba commented, “Oh, this is a boys’ club.”
John added: “She has to keep us in check.”
John also revealed how he is filling the void left by Gwen’s husband, Blake Shelton, who left the show after season 23. That’s what we’re trying to do. ”
Reba joked. “Does that have something to do with the sage you were burning the other day?”
“The Voice” premieres Monday, February 26th on NBC.
