Heidi Klum stunned on the red carpet at 23 years oldrd ET’s annual Halloween party!
Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, plays a more familiar version of the beloved alien from Steven Spielberg’s 1982 classic, while Heidi plays a girly version of the character in a scene in the film where Drew Barrymore’s Gertie cross-dresses. He played E.T.
Speaking with Heidi and Tom on the red carpet on “Extra,” Klum said: I started [dressing] It was 11 o’clock this morning, so it was a long day. ”
She continued, “I was born in the ’70s…” [‘E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial’] It appeared in ’82. I was about 9 years old when E.T. came out and I was a huge fan. What’s not to like about this gorgeous creature? I’ve always been in love with ET, so I thought it would be really cool to be an ET for a year. ”
Tom said it took a team to put the costume together, saying, “The different departments all worked together, the mechanics, the skin… and the prosthetics, it really took a whole team to make this happen, and they worked on it. ” he said. Over a whole year. ”
He added, “The biggest thing was getting the proportions right to get this right. That was the really difficult part.”

She wrote in the caption: “As a nine-year-old in Germany, ET introduced me to the idea that life existed beyond Earth. So last year I spent the last year finding a way to put my own stamp on such an iconic character. We all pooled our knowledge.”

Klum continued, “I know E.T. wanted to go home, but if the movie was set in 2024, I wish my favorite extraterrestrials would come to my party instead.” ” he continued.
She added, “Thank you to my husband for being the best sport and dressing up with me every year. And to my best and most talented team for taking my wildest dreams and making them a reality. Thank you,” he added. I couldn’t do it without you ❤️. ”
Just a few days ago, Klum teased her look while chatting with “Extra” at the Empire State Building. She hinted at the time: “What I’m wearing this year is from another planet. It’s not from Earth and it’s a couple’s costume, so I’ll be doing it with my husband.”
Heidi isn’t the only celebrity ET fan. Janelle Monáe also dressed as an extraterrestrial this year!
