This integration allows agents to receive notifications regarding whether homebuyers qualify for various down payment assistance (DPA) programs, streamlining the process of accessing financial resources.
An analysis conducted by DPR revealed that 87% of Heartland MLS properties are eligible for one or more homebuyer assistance programs. Additionally, within Heartland MLS locations, 27 agents manage 39 different homebuyer assistance programs. These programs provide assistance ranging from $3,000 to $37,000 to homebuyers with annual incomes of $143,000 or less who are looking for home values up to $766,550. Higher income and price limits apply in certain eligible areas.
On average, families within the Heartland MLS service area are eligible for approximately $15,000 in assistance.
“While home prices are up 4% in Kansas City compared to this time last year, wages have not kept up. More people are qualifying for mortgages and creating generational wealth through homeownership. It is essential that real estate agents inform homebuyers of the DPA opportunity so they can build on it,” Rob Crane, founder and CEO of DPR, said in a statement.
