Megyn Kelly was recognized as leader on Thursday night at the 2025 Time100 Gala.
Mona Kosar Abdi from “Extra” spoke with Megin. Megin said she “had a little laugh” about her being on the list.
She said, “I was here before and it was cancelled. I’m back here now.”
Kelly smiled and proved, “No one will decide who will be cancelled except for the American public.”
Megin is known to stay out of the controversy, and she applauded George Clooney after blowing up her for not being a journalist.
Regarding her reason for firing, Kelly said, “It was too tasty.”
She said, “Honestly, did George Clooney try to advise me on how to practice journalism?
Kelly said, “What do you know? He should call me. I want to tell him about it. He obviously thought about me.
Megin also responded to the death of Pope Francis, 88, saying, “I am Catholic and an observer. I am very sad. I am happy that he has become peaceful and old.”
She continued, “It’s one of those moments for the Catholic Church that they really have, they’re at a crossroads, right?
Megin added Francis. “When he was in Argentina, he found a communion that was said to have an actual body on it… His life appears to have started with a miracle in his youth. Why was he drawn to the church and why was he such an inspiration for so many people?”
